SUPPORT FOR NEW REBELS

The buddy system: this exists to help new rebels feel welcome and to help them find their feet within XR. As a new rebel, you will be matched with a ‘buddy’, usually from your local affinity group, who offers a supportive weekly phone call for four weeks.

Training: XR Wandsworth offers induction sessions for new rebels, and XR UK has online welcome sessions. The XRW newsletter gives upcoming dates for these and other training sessions. See also our Events page.

LOCAL GROUPS

In XR a Local Group (LG) is a small, autonomous group of rebels who support each other and work together to achieve XR’S goals. There are four LGs in XR Wandsworth. They plan and carry out actions together and with other Wandsworth rebels, and go to larger events like the full-scale rebellions together.

Talk on the Climate Crisis

This is a zoom recording of the free zoom talk we held on 21st March 2022. We hold this talk monthly and follow it with discussion.
