This is our fortnightly online planning meeting – do join us! At the moment we're very focused on organising screenings of the People's Emergency Briefing in Wandsworth, but all ideas are welcome. And all welcome  to join – if you’re new to XR Wandsworth, it’s a good opportunity to meet some of us.

After the summer break, the XRW book group will be back in September. As previously trailed, our next book will be Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake. 

Introduced by Chris Packham, this 50-minute film brings together key clips from the 3-hour-long National Emergency Briefing shown to MPs and others. The screening will be followed by discussion of the film and what we can all do. The next XRW book group will discuss The Invisible Doctrine by George Monbiot and Peter Hutchinson. The “invisible doctrine”. is neoliberalism, a theory that has underpinned the ideology of the free market for the past 40 years. This book is a "passionate, informed polemic that is short but packed with detail and incisive analysis" (The Guardian). Please join us for our usual lively discussion about the book and the wider issues it raises.
