We are now looking to build campaign momentum with a mass cycle ride and rally on Saturday 6th September. This event was rescheduled from July. This family-friendly ride will be protected by stewards front and back. The aim is to highlight how the rise of SUVs and car spreading – also known as autobesity! – is choking our streets and our future, and the need for safe cycling infrastructure and car-free streets. The ride will start at 10:30am at Battersea Park (exact location TBC)  and will end at 12pm at Southside Shopping Centre where we will have a rally, outreach and speakers. The mass cycle ride is a great way to take direct, visible action in our own community – and it's open to everyone, whether you are experienced riders or cycle-curious. People who can’t take part in the cycle ride can join us at the end of the ride for outreach and speeches.
