This is the day we’ve all been building towards. XR Wandsworth will be part of the picket of the Dept of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) – one of 16 pickets of government departments. The picket will begin at 7am when workers start arriving, so you can join any time. If you want to join up with others from Wandsworth, you can:

•   walk in a group from Clapham Junction station to Parliament Square, assembling at 9.45 at the Grant Road entrance to the station for a prompt 10am departure 
•    meet at 12.45 at the Westminster Scholars War Memorial (also known as the Crimea and Indian Mutiny Memorial) at The Sanctuary, London SW1P 3JS. This is a one-minute walk to DESNZ.
