All are welcome to come to these weekly planning meetings. For new members they are a great opportunity to meet other members of XR Wandsworth and find out more about us and what we do - and you can choose whether or not to get involved in planning or just observe for a bit!

Our weekly planning meeting is a great opportunity to meet other members of XR Wandsworth, find out who we are and what we do, and get stuck in to planning future actions if you feel like it (and just observe if you don't!). All welcome!

Members of the public will be invited to write messages on heart-shaped post-it notes to stick on a giant Valentine's Card to our planet. The message of the action will be ‘Save What You Love: Join Us on 21 April’. We will be doing this twice during the day:
•    at Clapham Junction, on the corner of Falcon Road and Lavender Hill, just down from Asda, 8-10am
•    at Tooting Broadway tube station 3-5pm

We’re going to discuss our community alliance building experiences and build on them. A practical meeting looking at what groups we will be contacting and how best to invite as many people as possible to the 21st April.

XR talks a lot about Citizens' Assemblies but many of us aren't that sure how they actually work. If you want to find out more, come to this session where the Citizens' Assemblies Working Group will give a presentation and there will be a chance to ask questions afterwards. 

Thames Water released sewage into the Wandle and Graveney rivers 294 
times during 2021. The Wandle is a rare chalk stream but is being damaged by pollution, meaning less wildlife in our rivers. The Government’s response is completely inadequate. Walk with us on 28 January to highlight the sewage in our rivers. 

How do we get as many people as possible from Wandsworth to turn out on the streets on 21 April - and this doesn't just mean people from XR? We need everyone to get involved in 100 Days planning. All welcome! A great chance for new members to meet others from Wandsworth and get involved.

This will be XR Wandsworth’s first face-to-face meeting of 2023. Getting 100,000 people to go to Parliament and demand change on 21 April will be a challenge, so we need everyone’s ideas! All welcome! This is a great chance for new members of XR Wandsworth to meet others and get stuck in!
