The evening will include a short de-escalation training session by XR Wandsworth's very own Lu. De-escalation comes into everything we do, every time we do outreach and meet an angry person, so it's essential training for all of us. Also a great opportunity to meet others from XR Wandsworth. We'll be in the small room next to the cafe/bar. All welcome!

From 14-20 October, the biggest names in the fossil fuel industry will gather in London for the exclusive Oil & Money summit, nicknamed the 'Oscars of Oil' (last year officially renamed the Energy Intelligence Forum). Join Fossil Free London and other groups from across the UK & Europe in a massive action against the oil industry, starting with 3 days of talks, workshops and community building 14-16 October, followed by 3 days of bold, direct

This event is replacing our fortnightly XR Wandsworth planning meeting, which was scheduled for 10 Oct. This has now has been postponed. Our next planning meeting will now be on 24 Oct.  

This will be XR Wandsworth's very first book club, and our first book is 'How to Blow Up a Pipeline: Learning to Fight in a World on Fire' by Andreas Malm. Do join us to discuss the book that inspired the film. All welcome!

This evening we will welcome members of South West London Greenpeace for a discussion about what we have in common, what we don't, and how we might collaborate and work together. All welcome!

Join the London Mothers’ Rebellion peaceful protest outside the Science Museum in London from 11.30 to 1.30. Supported by XR Families, XR Educators, Health for XR and XR Psychologists.

On 17 September, the United Nations will host a Climate Ambition Summit in New York. As world leaders gather, join millions of people on the streets across the world to demand a rapid, just and equitable end to fossil fuels. XRUK is working with a coalition of partners to escalate the fight and #EndFossilFuels together.

A chance for members of XR Wandsworth to meet in person to plan what we're going to do this autumn. We never seem to have enough time at our fortnightly online meetings to really look, and plan, ahead - this will be our chance. 2pm-5pm.
