This film explores the current global obsession with economic growth, how damaging it is to our planet and our future and how we can change. The film will be followed by a discussion.

This is a structured workshop that engages people on climate justice. It lasts 2 hours. The first half of the workshop is about understanding how each of our opinions are different based on our own individual experiences and backgrounds and how we can listen to one another and learn from each other and adapt our own views. The second half of the workshop is spent discussing a statement on climate justice practising the skills learned in first half.

A good way to meet others from XR Wandsworth and get involved in planning future events. If you're new and feel more comfortable just taking a back seat and observing for a bit, that's fine. All welcome!

NB Zoom planning meetings are now once a fortnight, on alternate Tuesdays, rather than every week.

If you’re new to XR and can’t make the welcome meeting on 17 May, or just prefer the idea of an online meeting, this is another chance to meet others from Wandsworth and explore how you can get involved. 

A playful day out with adults and children, exploring the relationships between human beings and the land they live on.

Note this is not an XR event.

This will be a great chance to get to know others within the Wandsworth group, and to hear from some long-standing members of XR Wandsworth about their experience of being part of Extinction Rebellion. There are so many different things you can get involved in – there is literally room for everyone, whatever you want to do! Please join us at Battersea Arts Centre for a drink, a slice of pizza, and hopefully a fun evening!
