The Dept of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) picket will run from 9am to 12 or 12.30. After that people can join events in Parliament Square, an End Fossil Fuels march, etc.

⭐ Meet at 13:00 – same location - for The March to End Fossil Fuels – Parliament Square to Jubilee Gardens

Activities to include People’s Assemblies and outreach to those involved with the London Marathon, which is happening alongside The Big One. Various community hubs will be offering a huge variety of activities. Meeting point for Wandsworth people TBC.

There is a Unite for Nature Rally at 1pm and at 1.30 the Big One For Biodiversity March heads off from the main stage at Victoria Street on its route around Westminster. This is the day we’ve all been building towards. XR Wandsworth will be part of the picket of the Dept of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) – one of 16 pickets of government departments. This will be our last XR Wandsworth planning meeting before The Big One. Do join us to finalise plans and meet fellow members of XR Wandsworth.

A great opportunity to talk to people as they go into work and invite them to The Big One, 21-24 April. We'll be at the Effort Street entrance to St George's 8.30-10am, so do join us if you can, even if it's just for half an hour!
